Computer-guided Innova Longarm
Quilting
"The quilting makes the quilt!"
Like every avid quilter, I know how essential the right quilting is to complement all the work that goes into creating a quilt. I will give your next quilt the quality quilting it deserves using the state-of-the-art, computer-guided Innova M24 longarm quilting machine in my studio in Brick, New Jersey.
Once your quilt top and backing are ready, call or email to arrange a time to come by so we can discuss the quilting pattern design that will make your quilt look its very best.

- How to Prepare Your Quilt Top and Quilt Back for Longarm Quilting
- Make sure all piecing and borders lie flat. “Fullness” and puckers cannot be “quilted out” so you must measure and sew accurately. (Sewing on borders from the center out helps!)
- Clip all threads. Unclipped threads can show through.
- Check all seams. Tug to make sure they are secure. Press as flat and neat as possible.
- Press the whole quilt top.
- Size the quilt back at least 10˝ wider than the quilt top (5 inches extra on all four sides).
- Leave the selvage on the outside edges of the quilt back. If the back isn’t one continuous piece: cut off selvage before stitching the seam, use ½-inch seam allowance, and press the seam flat.
- Press the whole quilt back.
- You can provide batting (the layer between the quilt top and quilt back), or I can provide Dream Select cotton batting if you prefer. Do not layer, pin or baste the top, batting and backing together. They are loaded on the longarm quilting machine as separate layers.
